Author Interview:

1. Describe what it’s like to be an author in three words.

Fun, Exciting, Crazy.

2. What is your favorite genre of literature?

I love reading different types of genre, but I think my favorite to read is YA paranormal like Vampire Academy series, The Hollow Trilogy, Soul Screamers series, and so many more.

3. At what point in your life did you realize you wanted to be a writer?

Oh, I do not think there was s point that I decided that.  I honestly write for a hobby, to relax and for fun.  I am actually getting my degree in psychology.

4. What would you consider to be the best book you have ever read?

This is a very popular question and I can never answer it.  There are just so many that I love, I couldn’t just pick one.

5. How do you react to a bad review of your book?

I have not yet had one, but I am sure, just like anyone else, I would be bummed someone did not like it.  I understand that not everyone is going to like what you write, everyone has their own opinion.

6. Are the names of the characters in your novels important?

How and why?Sometimes they are.  All I can say is…if the name is unique (spelling included), which mostly all of mine are, then look up the meaning(s) to the name and that could give some clues to the story or the character itself.

7. Do you enjoy giving interviews?

I do.  I find them sort of fun.  I especially like it when I see people actually read interviews that I am in, hehe.

8. How much impact does your childhood have on your writing?

I actually do not think it has any impact at all.  I had a nice, normal, fun childhood, but from some of my writings…you would think I am a little mental…which I might be, lol.

9. What was the greatest thing you learned in school?

Probably when they taught me to write and read in elementary school.  Without that, I wouldn’t be doing this.  ;)

10. Do you admire your own work?

I do not think I admire my own work.  I am proud of it when I see it published, just like other writers, but once it’s there, published, I kind of get a little over it and move on to another story.

11. Who else’s work do you admire?

I love Veronica Blades work.  Man that girl can write.  She is also very sweet.  I would definitely recommend to everyone to check out her books as they become available.  Currently she has one out called “Something Witchy This Way Comes”, it’s so good.  :)
