Blog Hop & Follow Friday - TGIF!

Happy Happy Friday! I am participating in two different blog "hops/follows" this week - so welcome :)

First, there is the Book Blogger Hop hosted by crazy-for-books.com, another great book blog to check out...her question this week is:

How many books are currently in your TBR pile?

Way more than I care to admit...if you count my Nook AND my actual hardcover TBR pile, it is around 300. Really, did I just admit to that?

Friday's are also Follow Friday over at parajunkee.com and while I am not that into paranormal young adult lit, her blog is awesome :) This week's question is:

Genre Wars! What genre is your favorite and what is your favorite book within that genre?

I absolutely love historical fiction...it is my two favorite genres combined into one! That being said, my favorite historical fiction novel would have to be Gone With The Wind. That is followed by a close second by Nancy E. Turner's novel trilogy about Sarah Agnes Prine.

Have a great weekend, and HAPPY READING!

  3. Hi Lindsay! Thanks for following my blog. Your compliment was awesome, sometimes I wonder if it is up to par with everyone else. I'm still pretty new at this and it takes me forever to figure out how to do anything :) Your blog is very pretty! I'm glad to have met you. Have a great weekend.

  7. Hi, I'm following you back. At the moment my favorite genre would be paranormal romance or YA. However, it was historical romances that first got me hooked on romances to begin with. I still have a soft spot for them. Good choice!

  8. Historical fiction is usually one of my least favorite genres, but as with all books it all depends on the author. I'm reading a historical romance right now that I'm actually really enjoying.

  11. I have way too many books on my TBR list and TBR pile. All told that comes to about sixty books.

Now here's the scary math: I read roughly one book per week - and sometimes two. But two to three books are being added to my TBR list every week.

    Stressful, right?

    Wrong!

Hop on over to my blog - http://www.howardsherman.net and find out why.

  13. I don't count my Ereader really. Alot of the books on there were free. That doesn't count does it?

  14. I love seeing how many books people have in their TBR pile. Some people have an insane amount, and I love it! lol Probably because most people I know in 'real life' don't read much, and I guess it's still sort of a surprise to me to see all these people who love as much as I do. I haven't read too much historical fiction, but I've enjoyed what I have read, and I have quite a few on my list. Beautiful blog, by the way! :-)
